Kids vacation camp a hit
Sixteen students enrolled in the camp, which provided a variety of activities at the Watson Academy building. Structured activities include organized games, art projects, cookie baking, and community service; time for indoor free play at the pool table and air hockey games. The Epping Fire Department and ambulance crew visited the camp with fire and ambulance vehicles for the kids to inspect and to ask questions of the fire and ambulance personnel. The Recreation Commission offers school vacation camps in December, February and April. It also offers an after-school program from 3:15 to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday during the school year and a summer program that involves about 60 kids. .
