It's time to put up your feet, relax a little, and start thinking about ... next year's holiday shopping. Yes, I know you'd rather be dreaming about sunny summer vacations or building snowmen with the kids. However, if you give the next holiday season a little thought today, you'll save yourself quite a bit of stress later. Leaving for a family vacation? Inform the local police station

Shimla, January 1: Leaving the station for vacations? Let us know. Approaching the people with these words, the Shimla police have worked out a campaign to get the cooperation of the public to keep a check on burglaries during the winter vacations. The police have asked the people to inform the local police station in case they are leaving their house for many days. Following this the police would take special steps to keep a vigil on those homes while the residents are away. In cases where the houses are situated on lonely locations, a special patrol would be constituted that would visit the areas during the day and night time. .
