First, a few brief notes on topics covered in this space while I was vacationing (alas, St. Tropez wasn't an option on a sportstypist's salary, so it was St. Hubert's instead): 1. Carey Price deserved to win the World Junior Championship's MVP award, but I'd wager that a decade from now, more Canadians will marvel over Johnathan Toews's three-goal shootout performance than Price's stymie job. I look forward to watching the Blackhawks mismanage Toews's talents. 2. Shootouts are the only practical way for a guaranteed, entertaining solution to tied games during the NHL's regular season. But they have no business in any playoff game or Olympic tournament. And while every skater on each team should have to shoot during the first round, I'd allow the coaches to switch up the shooting order for the second round.

However, 29 percent said they take fewer vacations than if they were pet free and 38 percent said they shortened vacations so they weren't away from their pets too long. Cats bond to territory, and will generally do fine for a few days with dry food and lots of fresh water. - Every dog should be crate-trained, as a crate is both the safest way to travel and the best chance the hotel or motel will allow Fido to stay the night in your room. .
